Hi Dave
Here is my 1930 Elgin Twinbar Delux.
Have a couple of bikes I restored I don’t believe you’ve seen? The first is a 1934 Monark Silver King, and the second is this 1930 Elgin Twinbar Deluxe. Both are in far-off but recoverable condition.
They’re both great bikes but I have to say the Silver King is the best bike I think I’ve ever ridden.
This Elgin Twinbar bike, like most of the rest, was considered by my friends a piece of junk. I guess I could see something in these old bikes they were just too blind to see, or they didn’t care to take a good look. Whatever the reason maybe they sure want to be the first to ride them when completed!
You’ll notice in the photos different parts on this bike that don’t belong reason being as I go through the restoration process I’m still finding the original parts. The last few photos show the bike completed with all parts.
